customized therapeutic massage
This is the kind of massage almost everyone needs at some point. When your body is not at ease, when your neck and shoulders are tight, when you have back or neck pain, you need the skills of an experienced specialist to work through to the source of your discomfort. Therapeutic massage is one of Margaret's specialties. (back to top)

craniosacral therapy
This light-touch therapy releases tension patterns absorbed by the body as the result of a lifetime of mental and physical demands. These energetic restrictions can cause pain and other wide-ranging negative effects on health, both mental and physical. Craniosacral therapy releases these blockages and is one of the most effective forms of bodywork for stress relief youll ever experience. An hour is an excellent length for a session. If you want more time to discuss the changes taking place in your body and life as your sessions proceed, an hour and a half may be more appropriate. (back to top)

about our therapists
Margaret Connolly bodyworker since 2001 Customized Therapeutic Massage, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Massage During and After Pregnancy
Margaret was called to bodywork in the 90s when a recurring ear infection interfered with her teaching college seminars in literature and humanities. Sessions in craniosacral therapy resolved the problem, convincing her of its benefits. Her early craniosacral and bodywork studies took place at the Osteopathic Health and Wellness Institute, and she later studied massage at the Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy, including advanced work in corrective medical massage and massage for pregnant and postpartum women. Shes currently pursuing further training in biodynamic craniosacral therapy with Franklyn Sills, director of the Karuna Institute. Margaret is certified by the National Certification Board in therapeutic massage and bodywork.
For Margaret, massage is much more than an occasional treat, and craniosacral work can peel off, one-by-one, the restrictions that impede personal functioning, for an integrated mind, body and spirit. (back to top)
